About Company:
Revolution Racegear was founded in 1993 by George Santana, a motorsport hero from South Africa who’s mission was to ‘revolutionise’ the way Australian motorsport competitors were forced to buy their gear through catalogues and pay exuberant prices.. In 2001 Garry Bradburn bought Revolution Racegear to New Zealand and since 1993 the Revolution Racegear group has grown to be one of the largest leading racewear suppliers in Australasia. Over a number of years Revolution and its RPM Racewear range developed into the premier racewear for Australian competition. Revolution Racegear NZ manager Ricky Slater says, "We find constant changes in the demands of our customers, so we search the world to bring the best safety equipment and performance accessories into our Australian and New Zealand stores. Of course our own RPM Racewear range continues to expand with new releases of race safety apparel. Look at the drivers on the podium and you will see RPM is the choice of champions, with drivers such as Craig Lowndes, Mark Skaife and Todd Kelly all wearing RPM." RPM has also led the way with ensuring correct homologation for race suits, gloves boots and underwear. RPM Racewear holds homologation from FIA and meets or exceeds standards set by ANDRA, AKA, MANZ and CAMS. To ensure competitors are able to present their race teams in the best possible way, RPM Racewear has a full custom design, digitizing, embroidery and sales department.
