Speedbitz.com, the website that specialises in the buying and selling of motorsport and performance cars, bikes and parts, is the brainchild of dynamic young New Zealand entrepreneur Nick Marshall.

Like his father, New Zealand rally legend Mike Marshall, Nick has a passion for building and driving rally cars, a passion the pair have realized in Marshall Motorsport, the well known and respected Auckland-based company which runs six rally cars, including one in the New Zealand Rally Championship and another in the New Caledonian Rally Championship.

The idea of a one-stop web-based shop for competition cars and bikes and parts came to Nick when was trying to source parts for one of the team’s Peugeot rally cars.

The site went live on December 2006 with the stated aim of becoming the number one source for all motorsport cars and parts.

Speedbitz currently has offices in New Zealand and Australia and its reach will be progressively expanded until it is a truly global resource.
